1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pairently ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pairently is a co-parenting coordination app that provides tools for managing custody schedules, tracking shared expenses, communicating about children, and organizing family information. The App is intended for use by adult co-parents.

3. Account Registration

To use Pairently, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Upload false, misleading, or defamatory content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Use the App to violate any court orders or custody agreements
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated systems to access the App

5. Content and Data

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you submit to the App. By submitting content, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the service.

Shared Content: Content you add to your shared family space will be visible to your co-parent. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you add.

Data Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. We are not liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate information.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier: Basic features are available at no cost.

Premium Subscription: Additional features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store.

Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for annual subscriptions.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by Pairently and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAIRENTLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Not Legal Advice

Pairently is a coordination tool, not a legal service. The App does not provide legal advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional legal counsel regarding custody matters, parenting agreements, or family law.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
